We are seeking a Highly Skilled Backend Developer with extensive experience in API development, particularly for banking clients. This role requires proficiency in Java and PHP, along with expertise in Oracle and MySQL databases. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure server-side logic and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to both internal and external requests. You will be working on projects specific to the banking domain, requiring a strong understanding of data security and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field with relative Work Experience.
- Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Java and PHP, optimized for banking applications.
- Design and implement RESTful and potentially SOAP APIs, adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
- Ensure data security and integrity, implementing robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Work extensively with Oracle and MySQL databases, designing and optimizing database schemas and queries for high performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues, optimizing performance and ensuring system stability.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to deliver efficient and scalable software solutions.
- Implement unit and integration tests, ensuring code quality and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in backend development, particularly in the banking sector.
- Adhere to banking industry regulations and security compliance standards.
- Strong proficiency in Java and PHP.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in Oracle and MySQL database management systems.
- Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.
- Experience in writing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
